BlackRock reduced its stake in Iguatemi preferred shares to 21,753,814 units, cutting its position to approximately 4.997% of the total preferred shares issued by the company. Iguatemi disclosed the transaction on Friday, September 25, 2026, in a filing with the Brazilian securities regulator CVM following formal notification from the asset manager.
The manager also holds 1,262,890 cash-settled financial derivative instruments linked to Iguatemi preferred shares. This additional derivative position represents approximately 0.290% of the total preferred shares issued by the real estate operator.
BlackRock stated that the holding serves strictly an investment purpose, with no intention of altering Iguatemi's corporate control or administrative structure. The asset manager confirmed it has entered no agreements regarding voting rights or securities transactions.
Iguatemi units fell 1% on Friday around 11:00 AM. The stock is up 3.2% in 2026 and has gained 8.2% over the trailing 12 months.
