Average interruptions fell to 1.58 per user while user compensation amounts remained unchanged.
Argentina's energy regulator Enrege published a corrected official quality report for the period between September 2025 and February 2026 after Edenor flagged material errors in data processing. The revision removed almost all previously cited service breaches for the distributor in the northern Buenos Aires metropolitan area.
In the updated document, Edenor recorded an average of 1.58 power cuts per user and 2.91 cumulative hours without supply during the semester. These figures fell from the initial report's 1.93 cuts and 3.65 hours, placing the distributor below its concession-wide limits of 2.55 interruptions and 4.92 hours.
The correction eliminated frequency breaches across Pilar, San Fernando, and Buenos Aires City communes 11, 12, and 15. For outage duration, Tres de Febrero dropped from 9.43 hours to 2.04 hours, well beneath its five-hour cap. Only San Fernando remained in breach of duration limits, logging 4.40 hours against a 3.53-hour ceiling. General Las Heras posted the highest frequency at 4.79 cuts and 6.79 hours without power, both under local thresholds.
Despite the revised operational metrics, Enrege maintained user credit calculations unchanged. Edenor faces 631 million Argentine pesos in compensation for outage frequency and duration across 123,981 users, averaging 5,093 Argentine pesos per affected customer. Including voltage issues and commercial breaches, total calculated penalties for Edenor stand at 3,612 million Argentine pesos out of a market total of 31,986 million Argentine pesos, pending regulatory review of force majeure claims.
