Coca-Cola bottler finishes $42M San Antonio expansion

Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages completed a $42 million expansion of its facility in San Antonio. The Dallas-based bottler added 170,000 square feet to its warehouse operations and installed a second production line to boost output across Central Texas.

The project expands total warehouse storage capacity by 20%, helping the company manage demand spikes during holidays and seasonal peak periods. Coca-Cola has operated in San Antonio for nearly 60 years and employs nearly 900 workers in the local community.

Susanne Brady-Lusk, president of Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, stated that the expansion comes as regional business grows year after year and reflects confidence in the Central Texas market. The bottler has also directed capital investments into its operations in Fort Worth, Houston and Waco.

The company serves more than 31 million consumers across Texas and parts of Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas. Its parent company, Mexico-based Arca Continental, operates across five countries and serves more than 130 million consumers within its Coca-Cola franchise system.
