The trade finance bank will expand its fourth issuance of Mexican debt securities.
Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior, known as Bladex, announced it will conduct the first reopening of its BLADEX 26-2 certificados bursátiles issuance on October 1, 2026. The bank has notified Mexican financial authorities and the local stock exchange of the transaction.
Bladex will simultaneously exchange the existing covering certificate at Indeval. The operation leverages terms that allow an increase in the number of debt securities under this fourth issuance, expanding the placement size to meet funding needs.
The regional trade finance bank uses debt instruments in Latin American capital markets to fund cross-border lending and trade operations. The planned expansion aims to enhance the bank's liquidity and funding capacity in the Mexican market.
