CVS Health Rolls Out Updated COVID-19 Vaccines

CVS Health announced on 10 September 2026 that updated 2026-2027 COVID-19 vaccines are now available across CVS Pharmacy and MinuteClinic locations in the United States. Patients can schedule appointments via CVS.com, MinuteClinic.com, or the CVS Health app, while walk-ins are also accepted at both locations.

The updated shots are available at no cost under most insurance plans. For individuals without insurance, the cost varies by product type and eligibility. Appointments are offered seven days a week, including evenings and weekends, with group bookings open for up to four people at once.

CVS Pharmacy provides the shots to eligible patients according to state regulations, while MinuteClinic administers them to patients starting at 18 months of age. Eligible visitors can also receive other routine immunizations during the same appointment, including flu and RSV shots.

As of 30 June 2026, CVS Health operated approximately 9,000 retail pharmacy locations and more than 1,000 walk-in and primary care clinics. The company reported roughly 87 million pharmacy benefit members and served an estimated 37 million people across its health insurance products.
